Jute is a fully biodegradable bast fibre grown primarily in the Indian subcontinent, requiring minimal irrigation and no significant pesticide input. It is one of the few packaging materials that is simultaneously renewable, biodegradable, genuinely durable, and visually premium — which is why it has become the standard choice for UAE organisations that need a corporate gift consistent with a published sustainability position.

Fabric, Lining, and Construction

We produce in natural jute, laminated jute, and jute-cotton blends. Natural jute has the strongest texture and the most authentic appearance but sheds slightly and is best specified with an internal laminate for anything that will carry food or textiles. Laminated jute carries a thin internal PP or LDPE film that stops shedding, adds water resistance, and gives the bag a crisp structure — this is our standard recommendation for retail and gifting. Jute-cotton blends soften the hand feel and provide a smoother print surface where fine artwork detail is required.

Handle options include self-fabric jute handles, cotton webbing handles, cotton rope, cane and bamboo top handles for premium gifting, and leather or leatherette handles for luxury programmes. Construction includes reinforced stitched handle anchors, a boarded base for square presentation, gussets from 10cm to 20cm, and optional internal pockets, zip closures, magnetic snaps, or drawstring tops. Piping, contrast trims, and cotton lining in a brand colour are available for premium runs.

Branding and Print

Screen printing is the standard method on jute and delivers strong, characterful results with one to four colours. The weave texture becomes part of the finished look — printed artwork on jute reads as printed on fabric rather than as a laminated label, which is precisely the effect most clients want. For detailed or photographic artwork we apply heat transfer or produce a printed cotton or canvas panel stitched onto the jute face, giving crisp reproduction against a natural background.

Embroidery is the premium branding route and works exceptionally well on jute-cotton blends and on cotton panels. A stitched logo adds perceived value out of all proportion to its cost and survives the life of the bag without fading. Woven labels, leather patches, and metal badges are also available for luxury gifting programmes.

Sizes and Formats

Standard formats include small 20x25cm favour and wine-bottle bags, 30x35cm gift and retail bags, 35x40cm shopper formats, and large 45x40cm beach and grocery totes. Bottle bags with one, two, or six divisions, lunch and cooler formats with thermal lining, drawstring pouches, and structured box-shaped hampers are all produced to order. For clients producing sustainability reports, we supply material origin and composition documentation. We will also advise honestly: for very high-volume single-event giveaways, a lighter material may have a lower total footprint, and we would rather tell you that than sell a heavier bag that ends up unused.

Quality Control

Jute is a natural fibre with inherent variation in shade and weave density between batches. We manage this by sourcing consistently, by holding approved reference samples for repeat clients, and by inspecting every production lot for weave defects, stitching integrity, handle anchor strength, and print registration before packing. Colour variation within a single production run is controlled; between runs separated by months, minor shade variation is a characteristic of the material and we will flag it in advance rather than let it surprise you.

Ordering, Lead Times, and Delivery

Minimum orders start at 100 pieces, with price breaks at 500, 1,000, and 5,000 pieces. Standard production is seven to ten working days after artwork approval for screen-printed bags; embroidered and heavily customised constructions require ten to fourteen days. Pre-production samples are available and strongly recommended for gifting programmes where the bag represents the brand at a senior level. Delivery is free across Dubai and available to all Emirates, with staged delivery for multi-site distribution.
